Hola!

Thanks for visiting my site! I plan for this to be a way for those back home to keep updated on my life while I am in Nicaragua. This blog will hold my thoughts, stories, and insights on my life abroad and to keep those interested in prayer, updated on what you can pray for.

I will be working at Hogar Belen, which is home to approximately 20 disabled children and located in Nicaragua's capitol, Managua. The majority of my time will be spend teaching the children daily living activities with the hope to prepare them for reintegration into society. I will teach English to my coworkers, and eventually serve as translator for the centre.

There is only 5 weeks left until orientation training! That means much work to be done.
