Hello, I'm missing you guys!!!
Preparations are on high stage for winding up my first semister.The 2007 went so fast,I can't believe I'm will be winding up the first serminster in few daysI don't know, maybe that shows that I'm having funBut guys to be open,I really enjoy my stay so far,not always though.At times I would fill to get my ticket right away back to Swaziland.

Anyway up coming events and past event: starting with the past events.
Last weekend we had a long weekend,meaning I had 1 day off.On monday it was a King martin Luther Jr's celebration so there was activities that was going on at the college.As early as 0730 in the morning there was a MLK break fast,it felt to me like the rest of my working days cos I was up at the same time I when I'm going to work, actually I was going to sing to that breakfast so we were scheduled at 0730 and we were supposed to do some rehearsal before.Well it was a good day,we had a speaker who talked about the life of the King and we had a drama singing proup and Voices 'n' Harmony gospel choir,the same proup I'm singing for.
The biggest event I'm headen to is the mid year conference,I can't weaite for that week long.Actually it will start on the 4th of Feb to 11th.That will be a memorrable week I guess,meeting each other again wow
The last thing that I will request from you guys is prayers,I really believe in praying and I live by prayers, for me to be here so far without getting sick or accident or any bad incident I considerd as blessings.I will be moving to my new host family on the 2nd of Feb,I'm so sad to leave the Gilbert,my current host,we were more than a host son and host parents but we were friends and now I have to leave them it so sad,I really don't like this idea but remember I'm here to broad my view so I have to expirience another family culture I guese
So I hope I will get a chance to kepp you posted during our week long conference.

How are you dong today.I'm so overwhelmed with thay phrase, actually people to start a convesation they usually say ''how are you doing today'' hm!!!
Well!! this days I'm looking close the caucuse that going on this days.It is getting more interesting between the two,the demorase and the repablican.
Just to summarise the whole thing, we have Mac Cane who is leading the Democrase currenltey and we have Mrs Clinton,Bill Clinton's wife,she is competing with Barack Obama. It looks like US would brake a record in this coming term more especially in the Replablican, they have a female and an African American which is really fascinating. I really like to see women campaining the top seat in the world and again I compliment Obama for standing out of his comfort zone as an African American.I really trust those two candidate, the can bring change to US.

We just couple days away from our mid year confrence, I'm so excited about that.I'm looking forward to meet the other IVEPers, I can't waite for the 4th of Feb.This confrnce will really help, to hear from the other how are they doing,we really gives me more courage to my obsteles and challenges.

I'm just back from my work, this week we have started one of MCC project.
It so amazing, you know before I came here I thought I knew all MCC's project but now is clear to me that I didn't know nothing infect I knew little. This project is meat canning, I know most people know this project, is really a big project.We started last week preparing for this week and I couldn't picture any thing in mind but this morning when I came in like normal days, I'm telling you it was a different place, packed with number of people and to make things worse neither one that I knew.I was so corfuse what to do.Actually Michell, Mateariel Recource Centre Supervice, told me last week that she will be not supervicing so no one I knew who can give me some job to do.
Nevertheles, it is a good adventure for me. Tecnical would last for 2 weeks but I will not work in there for that 2 weeks.

Hello everyone,good to be back after a while.Apologies for not being consitent posting. Hope you will forgive me,I was so busy since my days are bieng longer here, activities are growing aswell.
Anyway I'm back in actionI can't believe that I'm just around the corner of my half year.When we were out for a walk with my host parents at 1200 noon in New year's day,I was now and again bringing my mind in sences cos it was just a different morning and I was acting wiered maybe was becouse I'm getting excited when we closing a year.New year was much interesting than Christmas, remember we had a green Christmas but in 7 days was total different.We were playing games with my host parents and some community folks, with all of assadenly the weather changed.We new actually that before 2008 we will have a big storm of snow so I was looking forward to the white New Year.It was so pretty the way the snow came down, the brunches where decoreted by the snow and the vegatation was covered by the snow,I was like hmis this a new year gift since we didn't have a Christams gift hmmaybe:! Besical I enjoyed New year than Christmas,we didn't have crickets(fireworks) though

Welcome to 2008:!
Some may wondering that did I make to 2008? Yes!!!
Starting with Christmas.One of my worries before I came to USA was celebrating Chrismas in different way,I really like to be home during Christmas.On Chrismas eve I was working for half day though,that where I started to feel the difference.At home Christams eve is the big day too,everybody is at home preparing the next day but it was not the case here it was just the normal day.Actually I was so eager about Christmas here,shortly after Thanksgiving day people were like crazy about Christmas, and I was is two months before Christmas but people have aready preparing for Christmas; decorating their houses with Christmas tree and outsude their houses with colourefull lights,I was so fabulouse.Unfortunatley those excitment declined gradually as we aprouched Christmas.
So after work I found my Host mother making some Christmas cookies and I joined her (taking in to acount that I'm poor when comes to cooking, but I was fuscinated buy the different kinds of shapes, it was so awsome.)
On the Christsmas day I slept until 10:00 in the morning.When I woke up and I was like I we already on Christmas, it wes too quiet and it seemed the normal day. I was missing the noise of many people around,everybody is so excited moving up and down loud music, you know all that staf,I could feel the space for that.To me it seemed more Good Friday the way it was so quiet
But I didn't want to allow that lonelyness posses me, I was doing anything I could to do,to keep myselve busy.
Nevertheless we had a big dinner with Mable and Henk,(Marry's sister and her husband),my host brother and sister,Helen and Ilya(doughters from myy host sister)and my host sister's husband.I was wonderfull.We played different games, the funny one was opening a gift using a frk and nife.We went on to open gifts, it was so glomorouse when seing the different beautifull gifts including mine.
That was all about Christmas and I finished my day at Les and Gwen's house (that my corworkers,they are so nice)We played different games there,it was full of funny.One of the games we played was DUCH BLITS, I really like this game.I was done about Christmas
On Thursday we went to Michigan for Christmas party with Glenn's(my host father) siblings and mom,we drove about 1hr 30min and we came back at about 10:00pm.It was nice meeting Glenn's siblings and their mom,since it was my first time to meet them.
