This weather is like crazy! Today in PA is cold and wind, oh my!is so difficult for me and I think for everybody here in PA. Two weeks ago the weather was very good but last week, it just changed completelely.
Back home in Tanzania there is no such a cold like here in the USA. To live in the USA is a big challenge for me.

It was two weeks ago where the Amish invited us to his home. We got there at 4pm and we were warm welcomed by the Amish family. We talked a litle bit as we are waiting for supper. Then the Amish man said it could better if we can go and ride horse and buggy, and we all say sure! So we got a ride then come back and had supper, we ate corn & noddle chicken soup which is typical PA dutch food.
At the table while eating we had few conversation, then the Amish man said when he was a farmer like nine years a wished to have ten daughters surrounding his table! can you imagine that? But he don't have any kids.
The Amish community, is very simillar to some family in africa but the only thing which make it to be different is many family in africa has more that one wife. This is the true story of my grandfather(my dad's dad )who was having six wives and 33 children,can you imagine that? Many people in africa beileve that if you have food you can do anything you want.
Amazing thing. On sunday morning we were told that we are going to dress like Amish women so we did! but you know what everyone who saw me was amazed to see the first blank Amish.!!!!!!!!!!

1.This month, no news from home,
Father and mother, brothers and sisters,
Why so quiet? Is anything wrong?

2.In the foreign land, no news from home,
No one to talk with, because of individualism,
I don't know, who lives next door,

3.At the age of 19 years, live far away from home,
I miss you all, father, mother, brothers and sisters,
It is not easy to say, everything to God in prayer,

4.To live in cold winter, that was a big challenge,
But I can only imagine, snow is beautiful,
I'm sure you are fine, warm weather all time,

5.On my way to Virginia, I saw some news,
Smile-smile, Spring is here,
That gave me hope, but still...........

6.In God we trust, as we stay far from each other,
Let Him shower with, blessing from above,
I hope to see you again, in earth or in heaven,

7.Home is home, mother used to tell me,
Now I came to realize, three month left,
Tears of joy from my eyes, when meet you again,

Today I am very happy to hear that the name of the program has changed.
Well here is my story concerning to the name changing(INTERNATIONAL VISITORS EXCHANGE PROGRAM) TO INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER EXCHANGE PROGRAM.
When I was processing my application, many people asked me about the program, and they were socked about the name,especially the word "visitor" it didn't make sense to them. Because of that I got many questions, for those who are IVEP-ers will understand what am I talking about, but for those who are not in this program it will not sense to them at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This program is very good because it allow the participants to work in different job and also it helps the participarting to practice there english language, It is amazing you know!!!!!! for example many people didn't understand to speak english but now they are talking like a sewing machine.isn't that amazing?
duuuuuuuuuu I want also to say that I can only imagine why days go very fast like that.
The days are longer now if you have noticed. woooooow June is approaching soon july then home I don't know what I can tell after arriving home ooooh mummy I miss you so much, tears of joy will be on my cheak!!!!!!!! "Good to see you again.................... it was a hard for me to stay far away from home as a young lady only 19 years can you imagine that? " I have to give thanks to Almighty God for protecting me here in the foreign land.
GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME.HE TOLD ME THAT " MY DAUGTHER,COME TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE LIFE" OUR GOD IS AWESOME GOD.
