Grant Rissler is a coordinator for resource generation efforts for Mennonite Central Committee’s (MCC) East Coast region. In his role, Grant works with relief sales, thrift shops, congregations and individuals to raise the resources that support MCC ministries around the world and in the East Coast region.

Prior to his current assignment, Grant served as Peace and Justice coordinator for MCC East Coast. He also previously served with Mennonite Voluntary Service as an associate at the MCC United Nations office in New York City, and as an immigration paralegal for a pro bono asylum project in Harlingen, TX. He received a Masters degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University. Grant grew up in Virginia as well as Somalia and Kenya where his family served with Eastern Mennonite Missions. His home congregation is Big Spring Mennonite Church near Luray, VA.
